LiDCO
LiDCO provides a multi-disciplinary combination of physiological expertise, materials technology, computing technology and software to monitor and display the relationship between linked physiological variables at the appropriate frequency and at the point of care. The transformation of raw physiological data into useable information has been a key objective throughout the development of the Company's products.
- Real-time beat to beat display of critical parameters
- Including cardiac output, left ventrical stroke volume, oxygen delivery and systemic vascular resistance. Select index values at the touch of a button
- Early warning
- Direct, left side monitoring providing early warning of hemodynamic changes
- Immediate response to interventions
- Enables prompt interpretation and evaluation of the effect of therapeutic interventions
- Less invasive monitoring
- Uses existing arterial and peripheral/central venous access
- Easy to use, low cost per use
- Optimizes the use of valuable resources
- Monitor preload responsiveness
- Identifies cardiovascular insufficient patients and provides a rapid and continuous monitoring of fluid resuscitation using stroke volume variation and pulse pressure variation parameters
- Choice of information display modes
- Trend, Bar-chart and Graph Screen, select to suit your monitoring needs
- Lithium indicator dilution for Absolute Cardiac Output and BP Waveform Calibration using peripheral venous access
- Calibration via proven, innovative and safe indicator dilution. Typically takes less than a minute
User Interface
One of the principle criticisms leveled at current monitoring modalities is their limitations in terms of facilitation of data interpretation. LiDCO attempts to address this by using modern computing power and software to present this data in a novel and interpretable format.

PiCCO-Technology
The PiCCO-Technology provides minimally invasive continuous monitoring of hemodynamic and volumetric parameters. The system promptly provides the user with information to aid diagnosis of the patient's condition and thereby the necessary assistance in the decision process for optimal treatment. PiCCO-Technology is based on the Transpulmonary Thermodilution Technique and Arterial Pulse Contour Analysis.
PiCCO Plus
- Automatic catheter detection
- Use of room temperature as well as iced injectate
- Simplified, organ-related, graphical user interface
- Extended trend display for all parameters - up to 5 days
- Illuminated large display
- Individual parameter configuration
- Battery backup
PULSIOCATH Thermodilution Catheters
The PULSIOCATH Thermodilution Catheters are especially designed to be used in the arterial vascular system for Transpulmonary Thermodilution measurement with the PiCCO-Technology.
The catheters have a thermistor and a distal lumen for arterial pressure measurement.
