Who is Legisym

Legisym, LLC is a high-tech application services provider specializing in the deployment of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) x.509 digital signature technology. The company is located in Temple, Texas.

In March, 2009, Legisym acquired csoslink V1.0, a certified Controlled Substance Ordering System (CSOS), from Unique Pharmaceuticals (UPI). The software was developed by UPI's information technology department for internal use, and was certified in January 2009 by The Drummond Group (DGI). The independent audit and certification are required by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) before CSOS software can be used for ordering controlled substances in lieu of the DEA paper form 222.

Upon acquisition of the software, Legisym immediately undertook the task of transforming it from a single-supplier version into a commercial application that could be used by other companies in the pharmaceutical supply chain. The name of the software was changed to Express222™. A pending patent on the core components of the software is evidence of its innovative architecture and development approach. Express222™ provides a long-awaited, low-cost option for all companies in the pharmaceutical supply chain.

The innovative approach to making digital signature technology widely available at low cost through Express222™ is now being adapted to other business applications.
