The mission of the Kansas Board of Pharmacy is to ensure that all persons and entities conducting business relating to the practice of pharmacy in this state are properly licensed and registered so as to protect the public's health, safety and welfare and to promote the education and understanding of pharmacy related practices. |

A Pharmacist should associate with organizations having for the objective the betterment of the profession of pharmacy and should contribute time and funds to carry on the work of these organizations. |

Outdoor enthusiasts will be happy to know that Kansas is still home on the range to the American bison, which can be viewed up close at two of the state’s wildlife refuges and along the highways in Western Kansas and the Flint Hills. And for nature lovers, Kansas is home to the largest remaining stand of tallgrass prairie in North America, providing a glimpse of what the continent looked like 200 years ago. |

The University of Kansas - Kansas Schools of Pharmacy
Since 1996, the school has offered only the Doctor of Pharmacy degree as the entry level practice degree. The curriculum has been significantly revised to provide the education and experiential training that will provide the student with the knowledge, skills, and ability required of the pharmacy practitioner in the 21st century. |
