Unguator 2100 Model
Unguator E/S Model
Unguator B/R Model
The Unguator EMP is available in three different models, the E/S, the B/R, and the 2100. All are equipped to program the specific needs of any lab or compounding pharmacy. Unguator jars are excellent for topical prescriptions; they can be used for mixing, storing and dispensing. Dispensing in the Unguator Jars minimizes cross contamination due to the push up bottom feature that allows you to distribute the topical preparation without ever touching the product.
The Unguator Jars and Accessories are ideal for cosmetics as well. The Unguator jars come in many different sizes and colors, allowing our customers to customize their prescriptions or products.
The goal for us at HES is to promote safety in compounding. The Unguator product line offers an alternative way to handle formulations in a cleaner and safer manor. Promoting a safer product to consumers and patients should be priority in the health care field and it is our goal to provide them with positive alternatives.
Unguator 2100 Model
The Unguator Electronic Mortar and Pestle offers an advanced mixing technology in a closed system that optimizes your formulation mixes.
The Unguator 2100 model offers features such as:
- Mixing from 15ml up to 1000ml
- Preset Mixing Programs
- Large User Friendly Display
- Quieter Mixing Operations
- USB Port for Software Integrations
- Mixing Speeds up to 3000rpm
- Plus so much More.
All general mixing parameters are pre-set in the system, which allow the operator to concentrate more on raw materials and less on recipe specifics, leaving it up to the device to continually adjust the mixing settings. The Unguator 2100 also has a direct mix function that allows the operator to quickly set time and speed parameters, thus simulating the mixing functions of the
Unguator e/s model.
Whether making creams, gels, ointments, powders, suspensions, emulsions, or other formulations, the UNGUATOR® 2100 fully automates and documents the once cumbersome blending process.
With the introduction of this model, laboratories and pharmacies are now able to prepare everything from the most intricate reaction mixing, at very slow speed, to bulk manufacturing, up to 1000ml. With a speed range starting as slow as 120 rpm and up to 3000 rpm, this model is not limited by low viscosities or other raw material properties.
Fully compatible with all current Unguator® products, the system quickly transforms any pharmacy into a fully capable compounding facility.
Unguator E/S Model
The most common used machine in the Unguator family is the Unguator e/s. This machine offers quick and consistent preparations while maintaining quality and minimizing contamination.
The UNGUATOR® e/s model features:
Increased speed and volume ranges
Programmable mixing parameters
Automatic jar oscillation
This unit allows the operator to program mixing requirements, (time and mixing speed), into a display and operate the machine “hands free”, which also increases product quality of the finished preparation.
The Unguator e/s has two modes of operation: HAND – the oscillation arm moves to its lower position, allowing the operator to manually control jar movement, and AUTO – the mixing Jar is screwed into the oscillation arm and the machine controls the oscillation by itself.
After the mixing program is finished, the machine enters into the free spin mode (FSL) automatically, in order to clean the standard blades blade from excess material. Jar sizes 300-500ml can be used with this model, allowing for some bulk preparations.
Unguator B/R Model
The UNGUATOR® B/R model locks the mixing blade shaft in a bayonet socket. This model easily operates with a variable speed control. Ideally suited for basic formulations and compounding from 15 to 200ml.
This basic model offers superior results in all small scale formulations by manual jar oscillation. Using one hand to hold the mixing jar to oscillate up and down, the other hand to control the speed control knob.
The time for preparation is dictated by the jar size in use. It is recommended that the mixing speed be brought to its highest level as quickly as possible for most formulations.
